A trip to the Vet and a stay at the Emergency Department
This is a blog about Little Jerry Seinfeld and how he was diagnosed with Diabetes on Jan.31 and how life has been since his diagnosis. It was scary for us and for him too, I'm sure. He seems to be getting better as time goes on but we won't let our guard down as things aren't exactly as they are supposed to be yet, but every day a bit of our LJ comes back to us like normal. Here is a bit of background on how things happened. We had noticed for a few months that LJ was losing weight but assumed it was just because he was getting old. Actually, not getting old, he was already an old boy at the sweet age of 15. We figured he was slowing down and not as plump as he used to be for that reason. He was 11.8 pounds for what seemed like forever. :) Sadly, I know now he was down to just a bit over 5 pounds. We had no idea he was THAT small!
